System Overview & Operation

1. Systemübersicht & Bedienung Das Set besteht aus einer Mischer-Armatur und einer Spraybrause, die den Wasserfluss per Daumendruck temporär freigibt.	1. System Overview & Operation The set consists of a mixer tap and a spray bidet that temporarily releases the water flow via thumb pressure.
Wichtiger Endkundenhinweis: Die Absperrung an der Handbrause dient nur der kurzzeitigen Unterbrechung. Nach der Nutzung muss die Duscharmatur zwingend geschlossen werden, um den Brauseschlauch vom Leitungsdruck zu entlasten.	Important End Customer Note: The shut-off on the hand shower is only for brief interruptions. After use, the shower fitting must be closed to relieve the shower hose from line pressure.

Drinking Water Protection & Safeguarding

2. Trinkwasserschutz & Absicherung Bidet-Anlagen erfordern den Schutz vor gesundheitsgefährdendem Wasser (Flüssigkeitskategorie 5 nach DIN EN 1717). Folgende Sicherungsmaßnahmen sind zwingend erforderlich:	2. Drinking Water Protection & Safeguarding Bidet systems require protection against hazardous water (Fluid Category 5 according to DIN EN 1717). The following safety measures are mandatory:
• Vermeidung von Fehlzirkulation (Überströmen): Ist die Armatur geöffnet, der Wasserfluss aber an der Handbrause blockiert, stehen Kalt- und Warmwasser im Mischergehäuse in direkter Verbindung. Um ein Überströmen zwischen den Netzleitungen bei Druckschwankungen zu verhindern, müssen Rückflussverhinderer (RV) an den Kalt- und Warmwasserzuläufen installiert werden.	• Prevention of Backflow (Overflow): If the fitting is open but the water flow is blocked at the hand shower, cold and warm water are in direct connection in the mixer housing. To prevent overflow between the mains during pressure fluctuations, check valves (RV) must be installed on the cold and hot water inlets.
• Schutz vor Rückfließen: Die hier verwendete Duscharmatur ist nicht eigensicher. Sie verfügt über keine integrierte Vorrichtung gegen das Rücksaugen von Schmutzwasser bei Unterdruck. Sichern Sie die Zuleitungen zwingend durch eine geeignete externe Sicherungseinheit ab (i. d. R. Rohrunterbrecher Typ DB in Kombination mit RV), um den Normen für Kategorie 5 gerecht zu werden.	• Backflow Protection: The shower fitting used here is not inherently safe. It has no integrated device against the back-siphoning of dirty water under negative pressure. Protect the supply lines with a suitable external safety unit (usually a pipe interrupter type DB in combination with RV) to meet the standards for Category 5.

Structural Recommendation: Floor Drain

3. Bauliche Empfehlung: Bodenablauf Ein Brauseschlauch, der zeitweise unter vollem Netzdruck steht, stellt bei Fehlbedienung (Armatur wird nicht geschlossen) oder Materialermüdung ein Risiko dar. Wir empfehlen dringend die Installation eines Bodenablaufs im Bereich des Bidets, um im Schadensfall austretendes Wasser sicher abzuleiten und schwere Gebäudeschäden zu vermeiden.

3. Structural Recommendation: Floor Drain A shower hose that is temporarily under full mains pressure poses a risk of incorrect operation (fitting is not closed) or material fatigue. We strongly recommend installing a floor drain in the bidet area to safely drain any escaping water in the event of damage and to avoid serious structural damage.

• Fachgerechte Installation: Die korrekte Dimensionierung und Montage der externen Sicherungseinrichtungen obliegt Ihnen als Fachmann vor Ort.	• Professional Installation: The correct dimensioning and installation of the external safety devices is your responsibility as a specialist on site.
• Kundenaufklärung: Der Betreiber ist ausdrücklich auf die Notwendigkeit hinzuweisen, die Hauptarmatur nach jedem Gebrauch zu schließen.	• Customer Information: The operator must be expressly advised of the need to close the main fitting after each use.
